Magen Storc. “My life in ten years.” I was only 13 years old when I was in middle school and when I look at my self now I see a great life that I never expected when I was little. I am rich I have two jobs I really wanted when I was young I took a master degree in both jobs in college. But looking back in time and looking at my self now my life is different then I would have imaged…… My name is Magen Storc and in the last ten years my life has changed from a tall 13 year old girl, who didn’t always keep organized and kept projects off till the last minute and love to have fun with her friends, to a responsible 23 year old adult who is very responsible and does what she is suppose to, to get the job done. I work as a forensic scientist and a lawyer. I live in a huge house basically a mansion. I have three kids; two boys one girl there names are Elliot, Nathan & Isabella. Isabella and Nathan take after my blonde hair and blue eyes and Elliot takes after my husbands black hair and blue eyes. I want to give them every thing I never had. (That’s why I have the big house). I have 2 cars and 3motorcycles. Let’s just say I have a lot of fun things. I am always telling my kids what I learned in Gurrie middle school and how much it helps in the future. Especially these 3 things. I tell my kids having every thing isn’t always good some times these things can make you crazy and take control over you. That’s why you never let any thing to valuable to you get in the way of family or friends etc. I learned that in English class reading the pearl. Another thing I had learned in middle school was in my advisory (Ms.Ray/Mr.Driscoll). They said that when you shake some ones hand always shake there hand firm and look them in the eyes it shows you’re your confidant and able to do anything. I would have to say that my favorite thing that I learned in middle school is never give up what you love even if you friends think that it is stupid and to keep going for your dreams. Its so weird because when I look at our technology now and compare it to 2010’s technology I see a huge difference for instance the computers before were just a keyboard and a mouse there were some computers you can touch but I never had one of those …..to expensive then but when I look at the computers now you could just sit down and talk to the computer and it does it for you so you could say go to internet and it would open up the explorer than you tell the computer what you want it to type in and it searches it for you. So if that made a change I promise you other stuff has changed a lot to. So that makes it easer to go on the computer and to my paper at the same time with ease. There is one other thing I like is the touch screen refrigerator you click the picture of the food you want and it comes out on a plate automatically. I was recently invited to Gurrie middle school reunion and I’m excited to attend because I want to see how far people had become and how here lives change. I also want to no what my class mates have as there carrier because every one grew up wanting to be this and that when they were little and I want to see if they ended up having there job. I also want a chance to talk to my friends I had in Gurrie and find out how they succeeded in there lives and to look back at the old days and laugh about the funny times and so on. As you can see my life did change and I’m proud of my self for how I did. I am excited to see the years to come and compare it to now. Having fancy stuff or a big house or being rich doesn’t make your life successful or better its having a family and working hard and having your best friends beside you because they are with you through the years. And those things help make my life change to a success. J
